Resend is an email API for developers.
It's designed for you to build, test, and send emails at scale.
It's the apex (parent) domain used by Resend's mail servers for email authentication and bounce handling.
If you see rmta.net in the headers of an email, it means the message was sent by one of our customers using Resend's infrastructure.
The domain is only used to identify our mail servers - it never appears as the sender of an email. For example, if we send an email for one of our customers, it may be sent from a server with a name like: s123.b0.rmta.net, but you'll never get an email from: "someone@rmta.net".

At Resend, we have an experienced engineering team working to make sure all our systems are secure. We also have a Trust & Safety team which focuses on preventing malicious accounts from sending. However, sometimes bad actors can slip through our nets, so we also constantly review problematic delivery behavior and shut down bad accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy. Our systems have been very carefully designed to be secure, and we are quick to terminate accounts that violate our policies.
We also monitor our platform's reputation with third-party tools, like Google Postmaster Tools, and Microsoft's SNDS.
We are registered with all available Feedback Loops, and respond to any deny-listing of our IPs promptly, taking corrective action as needed.
If you believe you received spam or an unsolicited email sent through Resend, please forward the message to: abuse@resend.com. We investigate every report and take action against accounts that abuse our platform.
